Billy Lunn is singer songwriter from British band The Subways.
While he is writing the next album for the band he is taking some time to educate himself during the week at Cambridge University. Billy hasn’t done any Acoustic tours for a couple of years due to University and band commitments but he is now available for Festival slots in the summer.
So far the band (The Subways) have had three top 20 albums and have supported some of the biggest bands in the business including Oasis, Foo Fighters, Weezer, Kings of Leon, Kasabian and the mighty AC/DC. The band have played in front of hundred of thousands of people at some of the biggest festivals, Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, Big Day Out, Lowlands, Rock am Ring, T in The Park and many more.
For his acoustic set Billy plays hits from all three albums including Oh Yeah!, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Alright and Rock n Roll Queen and a couple of his favourite covers. On his last few run of shows he even pulled people out of the crowd to sing Charlottes parts which added to the fun of the event. He brings the same energy to his acoustic set as his full live show (without jumping off speakers of course).
