Ahead of my album release, my band and I invite you down to The Talking Heads on Thursday May 10th for a night of free music to promote our UK summer tour! We’ve put together a line-up of local neo-soul 4-piece ‘Mokono’ and electronic jazz-queen ‘Sansha’. Entry will be free and we’ll be collecting donations for the musicians on the night. Please come down to support some local and visiting artists, and also hear an exclusive play of a couple of my new tracks. Music will be kicking off at 8pm and the kitchen will be serving lovely pizzas (vegan options available!) and other bar snacks.

Mokono are a 4-piece ensemble based in Southampton, composed of Georgia Lee, Annabel Thornton, Ross Millar and Ben Lester. With a range of influences, from disco and funk to neo-soul and R&B, we’re here to bring a little bit of groove to your evening.
Up and coming musician Sansha is a 23 year old music graduate who makes jazzy alternative pop. A singer-songwriter at heart, she has written over 40 songs and produces them into electronic tracks. Live, she takes you through a whirlwind of emotions with her set on stage. Sansha has been described as a ‘Victoria Wood meets Lilly Allen’ hybrid who on the guitar, piano, synthesiser and launchpad delivers her unique original songs with a charismatic ease. Her lyrics are sharp, nostalgic and witty, catching you out with unexpected rhymes and sonorous tunes you won’t be able to stop singing afterwards.
Kitty O’Neal is a singer-songwriter from the U.K. In 2017, Kitty released two EPs, ‘A Home’ and ‘OK’, both receiving radio play on BBC Introducing and attracting venues in the South of England where she has supported household folk names Maz O’Connor and Meadowlark. Mixing her folk influences heard in ‘A Home’ with a love of RnB and electronic sound in ‘OK’, she is releasing an album in 2018 ahead of her UK summer tour which promises to encapsulate both of these moods in a unique and ever-evolving sound. Kitty’s poignant songwriting, paired with a distinct emotive performance, alongside her band makes for a captivating and vibrant live experience, filled with both soulful melancholy and groove.
