This Winter Machine formed in mid 2016 after a series of ads led to jams that quickly turned into writing sessions. Members have shared a stage with artists as diverse as Marillion and Uriah Heep, Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens and Uli Jon Roth. The debut album ‘The Man Who Never Was’ was released in Jan 2017 to widespread critical acclaim and a great response from the public. They were nominated in the Best Newcomers category at the Classic Rock Society annual awards and have also been included in many ‘Names To Watch’ lists for 2017. They are currently writing and recording their second album, to be released early 2018.
Servants of Science formed in Brighton in 2017 where they spent the following year crafting their conceptual debut “The Swan Song”. The album tells the story of an astronaut witnessing the end of the world whilst floating in space, but, there’s more to it than first meets the ear. Navigating the middle ground between Pink Floyd and The Flaming Lips, the album has gone on to receive critical acclaim from Electronic Sound Magazine, Progwave, JIC Prog Radio, Penny Black Music, ProgBlog, Deep Nuggets and more!
